Procedures & Fines

The City of White Sulphur Springs court docket is the schedule of the court. Defendants will be expected to adhere to the procedures and protocol of the court at all times, including proper attire.

All mobile devices, including phones, must be turned off. Photography and audio recordings are prohibited. No food or drink will be allowed in the court room at any time.

Posting Bond or Paying Fines

Depending on your charges, you may post bond for your citation. There are three ways to post bond or pay your fines.

1. In-Person – Stop by WSS City Court at 105 S. Hampton, WSS, MT.  The Court has a drop box by front door.  Please place your payment in an envelope, seal it, and place your name on the outside. 

2. By Mail – You can mail a Check or Money Order payable to the White Sulphur Springs City Court, to PO Box 442, WSS, MT 59645

  • The WSS City Court does not mail receipts or statements, unless you include a self-addressed, postage paid envelope.
  •  DO NOT MAIL CASH

3. Pay Online – You can use https://mobile.citepayusa.com/ for most money due. (Instructions are below).  Please note that CitePay charges a five percent (5%) service charge/transaction fee.

USING CITEPAY

  • To make a payment or post a bond, you must select “Montana” from the dropdown menu. The website should bring up another dropdown menu.
  • Select “White Sulphur Springs City Court”.
  • Click the Blue "Pay Case/Citation Balances" button

Depending on what you have been charged with, you may be able to post bond for your traffic citation on-line. However, the court must enter the citation first in order for it to appear on CitePay. 

Finding Your Information from the Citation Number:

  • To find your information, you must click the tab in the box that states "CITATION NUMBER" enter the Citation Number (as listed below) and the Date of Birth listed on the citation.

Finding Your Information from the Cause Number:

  • To find your information, you must click the tab in the box that states "Case Number" and your date of birth.
  • If you have received paperwork from the City Court, there is either "TK" or "CR" followed by a series of numbers.
  • You must enter the number in the following format: TK-590-20xx-xxxxxxx or CR-590-20xx-xxxxxxx.  Please note that you must include all the hyphens and zeros (0). Here is an example: TK-590-2020-0000123. 

Paying Fines and Fees

  • After you have entered the information, click the blue “Search” button. This should bring up your case information.
  • If you are charged with an offense that requires a mandatory appearance, you must appear in court. 
  • If you were involved in an accident, you must contact the court prior to posting bond online.
  • If you have any issues with the CitePay system, please contact the court, and we will assist you.
